Editing
preferences control pointer appearance and visual cues for bitmap objects.
- Delete Objects When Cropping
- Permanently
deletes pixels or objects outside the bounding box of a selection
when you crop a document or resize the canvas.
- Delete Paths When Converting To Marquee
- Permanently deletes the path after it has been converted
to a marquee.
- Brush-size Painting Cursors
- Set
the size and shape of the tool pointers. For certain large multi-tipped
brushes, the cross-hair pointer is used by default. When this option
and Precise Cursors are deselected, tool icon pointers are displayed.
- Precise Cursors
- Replaces
tool icon pointers with the cross-hair pointer.
- Turn Off “Hide Edges”
- Disables
Hide Edges when the selection changes.
- Show Pen Preview
- Provides
a preview of the next path segment that is created when you click
with the Pen tool.
- Show Solid Points
- Shows
selected points as dimmed and deselected points as solid.
- Mouse Highlight
- Highlights
the items that a current mouse click selects.
- Preview Drag
- Shows
a preview of the new object location when dragging.
- Show Fill Handles
- Allows
the on-screen editing of fills.
- Pick Distance
- Specify
how close to an object (1 - 10 pixels) the pointer must be before
you can select it.
- 9-Slice Scaling Option
- Automatically ungroups autoshapes when you use the 9-Slice
Scaling tool, eliminating the dialog box asking if you want to ungroup such
shapes.
