Select the source for the search

  1. Open the document.

  2. Do one of the following to open the Find panel:

    • Select Window > Find.

    • Select Edit > Find And Replace.

    • Press Control+F (Windows) or Command+F (Mac OS).

      Note: If the files you select are locked or checked in from an Adobe Dreamweaver® site, you are prompted to unlock them or check them out before proceeding.
  3. From the Search pop-up menu, select a source for the search.

  4. From the Find pop-up menu, select an attribute to search for. Set the options for the selected Find attribute.

  5. Select a find‑and‑replace option.

    Note: Replacing objects in multiple files automatically saves those files and can’t be undone.
