Share image metadata with Adobe XMP

Adobe XMP (eXtensible Metadata Platform) lets you add file information to saved PNG, GIF, JPEG, Photoshop, and TIFF files. XMP facilitates the exchange of metadata such as author, copyright, and keywords between Adobe applications.

1. Choose File > File Info

2. Do any of the following:

   • To add metadata, see Add metadata using the File Info dialog box.

   • To create new metadata categories, see Work with metadata templates.

   • To import metadata from an existing XML file, see Import metadata into a document.
