Enter alternate text
Entering
brief, meaningful alternate text (alt text) is important for the
growing number of visually impaired people who use screen-reading
applications. These applications read alternate text in a computer-generated
voice when the user passes the pointer over graphics on a web page.
In the Property inspector, type the text in the Alt Text
box.
