Apply filters and Photoshop plug-ins as Live Filters

Note: The menu known as the Xtras menu in some previous versions of Fireworks is called the Filters menu in Fireworks 8 and later. Fireworks Xtra extensions are now known as filters.

Applying built-in filters and plug-ins in the Add Filters pop-up menu as Live Filters ensures that you can edit or remove them from an object.

Use the Filters menu to apply filters and Adobe Photoshop® plug-ins only when you are certain that you will not want to edit or remove the filter. You can remove a filter only if the Undo command is available.
