Import text
To
import text from Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator®, import a Photoshop
or Illustrator file, or copy the text into Fireworks.
 By default, text from Photoshop and Illustrator
retains all attributes in Fireworks. However, you can also import
Photoshop text as bitmap images. (See Photoshop Import preferences.) To import text
in RTF (rich text format) and ASCII (plain text) formats, copy it into
Fireworks. You can also select File > Open or File > Import
and navigate to a file. (Imported ASCII text is set to the current
fill color and default font, 12 pixels high.)
